Hammam likes to draw his old home, longing for his country that was destroyed because of war and preserving his good memories. This story takes on the difficult issues of war and how children cope with such painful situations. This story sheds a light on how beneficial a child’s imagination can be to deal with those situations and help survivors to maintain hope as they look forward to a better future despite the struggles they endure.
