From My Window

“From My Window” got the honor list from The UAE Board on Books for Young People (UAEBBY) for the best text and best illustrations in 2019.

I open the window every morning, overlooking the world. I hear and see a lot of things from my window.
“From my window” helps children to consider the scene around them in a simple and fun way. It’s not necessarily that everything we see and hear is exactly what is happening around us.

The distinctive style of this story splits into two narratives; one follows the little girl and her thoughts, and the other one follows the cat and the events it witnessed. “From My Window” helps children notice details and better react to stressful situations, it also teaches them how to connect two storylines entertainingly.
